TEAGAN PRICHARD

TEAGAN PRICHARD attended the Montessori School of Johns Island for Preschool.  He is an artist and says that the Montessori School of Johns Island is where he got his start.  He went on to attend the Charleston School of the Arts, already being quite an accomplished artist.  To name just a few of his many accolades, he represented C.E Williams Middle School at the Art Exhibit at the Coastal Carolina Fair.  He also  won first place for the Studio Art Holiday Card competition at James Island County Park.  And, he received the Scholastic Art & Writing award from the Gold Key  at Carnegie Hall.   He was the Piccolo Spoleto Rising Artist winner for the Piccolo Spoleto Rising Stars Program.  Teagan also spent a summer in Washington DC, where his work was showcased at the Department of Education Art and Writing Exhibit. He plans to continue his education in Art, eventually working as an architect or graphic designer.

REESE FISCHER

REESE FISCHER attended the Montessori School of Johns Island for preschool.  She is currently a sophomore Creative Writer at Charleston School of the Arts.  She has won numerous Silver and Gold Keys from the National Scholastic Art &Writing Awards.  Her poetry was recently published in Teen Ink, a national writing magazine for teens, and she has been awarded three Editor’s Choice awards and been featured multiple times on the magazine’s website.  She intends to become a high school English teacher and credits Making Butterflies for handing her some of her first books.
