Faculty and Staff

Miss Sarah H., Owner

Sarah Hocutt has a passion for children like no other. She attended the College of Charleston to obtain her undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Art and then pursued master’s degrees in Art Therapy, Art Education and Clinical Psychology. She has also obtained her Montessori credentials and many state licenses that are complementary in teaching and therapy. Sarah has spent 28 years studying children’s development on all levels including neonatal struggles such as fetal alcohol syndrome and newborn withdrawal from substances, autism, learning delays in toddlers and preschoolers, intense emotional intelligence training, and working therapeutically with all aged children, adolescents, adults, and families. Having children at her side is natural and showing them a simple way of learning through nature, gardening, and animals is something that Sarah has always been fully invested in.
